About Me

“Your horse isn’t giving you a hard time, she’s having a hard time.”

Hi! I’m Kelsey!

I was raised outside of San Francisco and found my love of horses through my Papa, a farmer in Washington State, where I spent my summers as a child. I got a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition, but autoimmune diseases caused me to course correct my life after my senior year. I started working with dogs and getting very interested in dog training. I found positive reinforcement training and studied as much as I could, but dog training still just didn’t feel right.

In 2021, my husband and I bought a house in Nashville and I started volunteering at Volunteer Equine Advocates. I started applying positive reinforcement and clicker training to the horses at the rescue and could see how much it changed their lives, and now I’m ready to help you change your horses life too.
